Regular aerobic exercise is the biggest lever. Protect and regularize your sleep. Short or fragmented sleep keeps the heart running faster, so getting enough sleep on a consistent schedule brings the baseline down. A resting rate that's stuck high often traces straight back to a run of poor nights.
