9.1% CTR: How TouchPoint Brought Its Next-Gen Stress Wearable to People Who Already Track Their Stress

Welltory x TouchPoint Solution Business Case

In 2015, Vicki Mayo spent night after night helping her four-year-old daughter through night terrors. A friend suggested a technology she had been testing in her clinic: gentle alternating vibrations on both sides of the body. The first time Vicki tried it, her daughter went back to sleep and woke up rested. Vicki decided it should be available to anyone living with stress. Ten years later, TouchPoint Solution is a growth-stage company with more than a million devices sold. To scale Thodian, its next-generation stress wearable, in the U.S. and Canada, TouchPoint chose Welltory as a launch channel. The campaign delivered an average in-app banner CTR of 4.9%, peaking at 9.1% among Welltory subscribers.

About TouchPoint Solution

TouchPoint Solution develops wearables for in-the-moment stress relief, based on its patented BLAST® technology (bilateral alternating stimulation tactile): two small devices worn on opposite sides of the body deliver gentle vibrations from left to right.

  • 1M+ TouchPoints sold and 75,000+ customers
  • 25+ industry awards, including Gold at the Edison Awards (Wellness Technology)
  • 11+ patents
  • A triple-blind, placebo-controlled trial with athletes showed stabilized cortisol during stressful events; company research reports lower perceived stress within 30 seconds of use

Thodian builds on the original technology with an app, guided sessions and six modes for everyday needs such as Sleep, Focus, Calm and Confidence.

The challenge: scale a new product without overpaying for awareness

Thodian was TouchPoint’s biggest launch since the original device: new hardware plus an app experience. To grow it beyond the existing customer base, the team had to solve several business problems at once:

  • New customer acquisition at a sustainable CAC. Paid social in wellness is crowded and expensive, and a cold audience needs a lot of education before it buys.
  • Reaching people who already feel the problem. Bilateral stimulation is easiest to sell to someone who already knows their stress is high and wants to act on it.
  • Testing launch messaging. TouchPoint needed to learn which use cases (sleep, focus, calm) drive interest before scaling spend.

The solution: launch Thodian to a stress-aware audience

Welltory users track their stress every day, recognize patterns in their state and actively look for ways to improve it. That made them a pre-qualified audience for Thodian. We introduced the new model across Welltory’s in-app placements, stories and email, together with a special offer for Welltory users. The core message was simple: if you can see your stress, you should also have tools to help manage it.

The results: exceptionally high engagement

  • 4.9% average CTR across in-app banners
  • 9.1% peak CTR among Welltory subscribers
  • For context, the average CTR for Meta traffic campaigns in Health & Fitness was 1.63% in 2025, so the campaign’s average was about 3.5x higher
  • Users responded strongly when a stress-management tool appeared next to the data they already use to understand their stress.

“Thodian is our biggest step since the first TouchPoints, and we wanted to launch it with people who already see their stress every day. Welltory was the perfect match: their users don’t need to be convinced that stress matters, they’re looking for what to do about it. The launch process was clear from day one. We aligned on goals, offer and timeline quickly, and the Welltory team kept us informed at every stage. That made it easy to move fast and to start planning what comes next.”
